IDEMIA has won two awards at Juniper Research’s 2022 Future Digital Awards for Fintech & Payments, namely a Gold Award for its Token Platform and a Platinum Award for its GREENPAY portfolio.
On October 11, 2022, Juniper Research announced the 2022 winners of the Future Digital Awards for Fintech & Payments. This category recognizes the most impactful financial products and services by organizations which are driving innovation and growth in areas such as banking, fintech, fraud and security, and payments.
IDEMIA is proud to receive recognition from Juniper Research—an established UK research and analyst firm that has been delivering thought leadership and analysis in the fintech and payments sectors for more than a decade.
Launched in 2017, IDEMIA’s Token Platform provides payment networks and private label card issuers with an end-to-end modular solution to digitize payment cards, including tokenization and credential provisioning into a device or shared with a token requestor, across a variety of use cases for card-based proximity, in-app, P2P, and remote payments.
To date, IDEMIA has produced and/or provided hundreds of millions of tokens, and is the largest independent tokenization service provider approved and registered with EMVCo, the global technical body that facilitates worldwide interoperability and acceptance of secure payment transactions by managing EMV® Specifications and related testing processes.
IDEMIA’s GREENPAY portfolio boasts an end-to-end sustainable offering for payment designed to reduce, reuse, and recycle plastics. Its eco-friendly cards are made of recycled PVC derived from printing and packaging industrial waste through open-loop recycling.
IDEMIA has obtained from its recycled PVC supplier an “Environmental Claim Validation Summary” issued by independent product safety certification organization UL Environment for the recycled plastics used in GREENPAY payment cards.
Additionally, GREENPAY cards have received Mastercard’s sustainable card certification and, most recently, ICMA EcoLabel Standard certification.
