Iceland: A leader in the implementation of the European Entry/Exit System

Iceland selected IDEMIA to provide a comprehensive border management system compliant with EU-EES regulations for all border crossing points.

IDEMIA has been selected by the National Commissioner of the Icelandic Police and Isavia—operator of Keflavik Airport (Iceland’s main airport) and other airports—to provide a comprehensive border management system compliant with EU-EES regulations for all air and sea border crossing points. The new system will ensure a smooth traveler experience thanks to new equipment, including self-service kiosks, manual counters, eGates, and mobile solutions for border guards.
