Continuing and reinforcing our support to local populations

IDEMIA impacts communities with products and services that make the world more equitable, secure, and better connected; by encouraging education through innovation; and by forming close relationships with local communities as an employer and corporate citizen.

Identity makes an impact

Identity is key for individuals to gain access to financial services, healthcare, and education. We believe that the root of equal opportunity and dignity is a recognized form of identification.

We are proud to support the United Nations Sustainability Goal 16.9, which promotes inclusive societies for sustainable development—including the attribution of a legal identity for all.

We support the United Nations General Assembly’s ambitious goal to provide ‘an Identity for All’ by 2030 by contributing to the implementation of an Open Standards Identity API (OSIA) interface that enables identity management for governments. Such systems have already been deployed in Guinea and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Focus on education

At a global level, IDEMIA is a member of the Global Alliance for YOUth—a business-driven movement of like-minded organizations passionate about working together to help young people around the globe get the necessary skills to thrive in the world of work, today and tomorrow. The Alliance has more than 20 companies working with non-private-sector partners to support young people in building their employability skills, focusing on Digital Inclusion, Dual Education, and Soft Skills.

In accordance with the UN Declaration of Human Rights, IDEMIA upholds the fundamental right to quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Being a good neighbor

IDEMIA encourages community action at our local offices and factories in ways that positively impact the surrounding community, helps those in need, and contribute to environmentally friendly initiatives.
